THATCamps are small-scale, inexpensive unconferences in which participants choose session topics on the spot. Dozens of THATCamps are held each year around the country, many focusing on a particular topic such as publishing or games.
The creative brief for these two pieces was to build on the existing logo and identity to publicize the availability of fellowships, and to provide a template for local THATCamp hosts to publicize their event in a visually appealing, brand-consistent way. The campfire motif reflected the collaborative friendly nature of the conferences. The flames are made up of wordles from the THATCamp website.
In the templates, areas were left free of ink to enable users to easily write in their meeting information if they so chose.
